We are singularly focused on Howell Mountain cabernet sauvignon from Napa Valley.
Through our experience, we know that the best wines come from great vineyards and are created through minimal intervention and maximum attention. We craft our wines on a human scale, in very small lots and steward what nature provides so that the resulting wine is a true reflection of time and place. We feel this is the best way to truly represent each vintage.
Thank you for discovering us and supporting small winemakers like ourself.
Without compromise. Limited availability.
Ranging between 1720 to 1800 ft in elevation, the 32 acre Beatty Ranch sits above the fog and is at the heart of the Howell Mountain appellation. So much so that the Howell Mountain AVA came to be with the help of Randy Dunn (Dunn Vineyards), Bill Smith (La Jota Vineyards) and topographic maps of the area spread on Mr. Beatty's dining table. The vineyard has a long history with some blocks having been planted before Prohibition. Our block was planted on shallow, volcanic "Aiken" soils over 40 years ago making these vines some of the oldest cabernet sauvignon vines on Howell Mountain.
